Why does sugar taste so strong?

I went sugar free for 2 weeks and today I bought coffee with 2 sugars 2 cream.... and it was sickenly sweet before it wasn't when I regularly had sugar in the past

We are fed with sugar right from childhood and we get hooked to it like cigarette. But when we abstain from it for sometime is when we know how obnoxious and harmful product it is ..

All modern day ailments are linked to sugar and we become the slave of pharma companies..

I have type two but I miss sugar that I “budget” it in my diet. I have to treat it like poison at times because it can be so “addictive” of a taste.

Cream is quite sweet by itself... you added the sugar without testing to see if it was to your taste first and made it oversweet for your liking.

At least, that's how I think that it happened...

[@Becksta that could be true . I'm only letting my self have a beverage of choice every Saturday. So I will try next time coffee with just sugar
