Shouldn't have made the mistake of dating so soon

A man reached out to me. I said okay.

He said I was unable to make him comfortable. He said I'm too formal. The vibes aren't matching. Etc.
We decided to give it a shot.

He's just ghosted me now like a month later.

It's more awful because we work at the same place.
Different floors though.

I'm so pathetic lol.

There's no end to me being pathetic.

I have a lot of shame. And this does not help.

I actually consider it as compliment when someone calls me serious. I rather seem serious than an easy going clown. His loss 🫰
You're not pathetic.
Being hopeful and willing to take a chance is not shameful. It’s not pathetic. Stop that.

It didn’t work out. He’s chicken. What would you want him for anyway?

People who just ghost someone after a month without settling the account are pretty awful, and I would not consider him an option. Formal or not.

Instead of dating directly you should try to be friends first and see if it can work or not. And being not compatible for someone doesn't make you pathetic. If its a right person things will fall in place naturally.

So it was your job to make him comfortable?
Screw that guy.

Curious…what was he finding too formal about you?
Your self worth is better than that. Screw him, it's his loss. Take your time. If you are going to date someone from work, make sure it's separate buildings.

Your way to hard on yourself. Its not that you are pathetic, it just didnt match up.

🤷‍♂whatever.

Theres someone for everyone and he just wasnt for you.

What if tomorrow you become royalty?
Just because you weren't a match (for the heathen haha) doesn't mean you're pathetic.

Try again - this time with someone better.
