Can everyone please share some of their worst failures?

I just failed an exam. That I feel quite bummed about. Apart from being average at best at my work...
Anyway...
Please share your worst failures. I want to feel less alone.

Sorry if this offends anyone. I'm just tired of people pretending that life is so perfect when it isn't. It can be perfect in certain aspects, but not all.

That being said, if you do have a perfect perfect life, please scroll past, I don't want horrible critical comments. I just want to feel less alone. That's all.

Second I hate the term failure. It's used so widely as an insult etc.

My worst "failure" was actually my saving.

Two parts to mine. One was finding myself in a police station with a carrier bag of belongings having left my husband after he helped someone rape me. I couldn't face pressing charges for the rape but the police helped me for other information I gave. I remember being on a train heading to a town I never heard of thinking death would be preferable. I met a lady who helped me start to rebuild.

A few years on I talking to a guy about my drinking and the word "failure" cycling in my head. He helped pour the booze down the drain and I moved on again.

I'm now ridiculously happy where I am in life. Those "failures" made me better.

Just remember "Failure isn't falling down it is staying down". Get up and go again.
