why do you have to have ' things going for you' to attract a partner, a woman

why can't being just 'nice' and having a good personality be enough?? no, instead you have to have all these things going for you to be even in with a chance to get a girlfriend now, for eg- a good body, lots of money, a good job, be an alpha male, what your social standing is, have good looks etc.....all that is nonsense, why do you have to fulfill all those categories for to get a woman to like you now??

I don't ask for a good body or a rich person. I do ask for someone who is responsible and pays their own bills. Someone I connect with on every level.
