is wealth transfer a thing for you and your family?
I felt the dark side of it dealing with my sister over our mum's estate. I was lucky to get enough to be house deposit, but she ended up with 4 times as much. Not that I care as from the day I had to take her to court to get any share I'll never talk to her again.
How has it worked out for you?
Here in Oz the figure most quote is needing $500k - I had less than half of that (under $200k) for my house deposit. I've worked for 36 years and don't yet have $500k in retirement funds (super) but I still have at least 10 perhaps 15 years of work left.
