I didnt know at the time because I didnt have all the XP I have now but if I had known better I would have liked to have saved up for a MIG / TIG welding machine.
I can't believe I was wasting all my time working in a restaurant when I could have had some easy lessons and been making twice as much back when I was young and broke.

@orioninthenight there are some new companies and technologies that have brought the price of MIG and TIG welding way down. You can TIG weld for as little as $100. ..but not high frequency like you need for aluminum...
