I Will Vent Here

So guess what I went to sleep about 10:00 tonight and I woke up around 2 hours later........guess what I wont do for the rest of the night?

Yep no more sleep for me.

I had to wake up.

The kid was banging on the door.

If I didn't let him in, he'd wake the old grouchy landlords upstairs.

I mean my parents, he'd wake my parents.

They're about to kick us out of here before the house is finished you know.

Yep.

They said my son and I could live here.

I was the one that decided to get married before the house was finished

They remind me of this daily.

Lazy ass JP (my husband is not lazy) I am quoting my dad, is bad enough

His kids are 2 too many.

The kid was knocking on the door.

He made it home safe.

I had to let him in.

What thanks do I get shoved out of his way so he can get to the fridge and avoid my question if he gets home at the same time when he is with my mom.

He's almost 17 after all and I can't treat him like a kid.........

Nope and I wouldn't want to.

I just wanted to sleep without having to get up and let him in.

Just saying.

I am tired.

Can you tell?

Yep me too, but it doesn't matter cause well I will not go back to sleep tonight.

But the boy is home safe and I prevented him from waking the grumpy landlords upstairs so looks like we wont be kicked out tonight and we are one day closer to the house being finished in August. 📣

Getting him his own key would probably help with that.

@Trysta09 Ideally he'd have a key, but we are living in my parent's basement apartment until August so there aren't a lot of spare keys and since we are moving in August we don't want to get any made, he's only with us for 1 more week.

My next instinct would be to wake him up at 6am so he can see how it feels. Admittedly, not the nicest attitude to have but sometimes it works. 😉
