I can relate. I had a pulmonary embolism a few months ago and the doctor at the hospital didn't take me seriously. (I was experiencing severe pain in my chest.) It might have gotten overlooked if it was not for my primary doctor. I could have died. Have you talked to a supervisor?

People have been trying to get my former surgeon fired because he is a major alcoholic and some of us think he was drunk when he did our surgeries my first back surgery was in 2001 and he didnt do the spinal fusion like he should have! My good friend who has since passed away had 19 surgeries to fix the one he did! They cant fire him for some reason!

Oh he sure was and i had screaming fight with him but i knew there was something wrong and he wouldn't listen! So now i am facing possible major surgery on my neck to fix it! My family doctor told me that this should have to come to surgery if he had done the mri when i asked this could have been taken care of medically and not surgically!

@Paige42986: Not trying to diagnose you...just saying that I've had a "ruptured L5" and leg pain for 17 years and it hasn't been helped by surgery...but I'm now working through Dr. Sarno's info and it is already helping.
In fact, I know 8 people with back and neck pain and none of them who have had procedures done have been helped by the surgeries. Again, I'm not saying you won't, just sharing my experiences.

Actually, Sarno doesn't teach mind-healing.
He simply helps you eliminate the mind-source of the pain. The pain is real. The physical illness is real. Who doesn't understand how unresolved stress can lead to ulcers?
Ulcer's are real and the stress that generates it is real, but the mind is where the ulcer's need to be "cured" (because eating antacids and taking pepcid is a symptom treatment, not a source eliminator.)
