I really wish I could be a more positive person, it's just gotten so extremely hard to smile through pain.

I want more value in my life but I'm always trying to manage pain and being a single parent without a family at all. It doesn't leave any energy for the things that would feel purposeful. I used to volunteer and be the person everyone counted on , I always pulled through. I worked men's jobs and busted my butt trying to prove I could do all these different trades.

Now I'm starting fear I might be developing agoraphobia or at least similar issues.

I did fight it. I pushed myself to go explore the country and talk to all kinds of people. I'm to the point I simply can't be that person though.

It doesn't help I live in a wealthy and harshly judgemental area. Or that my body won't function like it used to.

It's sad.

It's hard to not feel depressed when all the care you gave meant nothing to anyone. Or as we like to blame covid, just about the time I needed help, the world decided it was done with community and caring.

Being forced to accept that my friends, my docs, my therapist now have 80 foot walls around them was heartbreaking.

I don't matter. I likely never did but I know how to love and I did love. Love was my religion.

Now I'm just alone and my personality has slowly deteriorated into something people actively avoid.

I can't find positivity. I'm too depleted to create it from the crap I was given. So now I'm a nobody.

I'm still a grateful person. I know how good I have it in ways and I appreciate that. It's very hard to never share though. Even if someone would simply stop by for tea it'd mean so much. Instead I get treated like the mean old witch.

I still won't give up. I don't know why I think anyone would want to understand me when they can just say ew and ignore me. But I'll never give up.

It's tough. I know. And it takes a while to work through it. The current economic situation certainly doesn't help but we're told to deal with it. I really get it. 🫂

A neighbor was abused her while life by dysfunctional mother who even trafficked her, and later by an abusive hub that turned her kids aganst her. She survived. She still suffers to be sure.

There may be no "cure" but nature is a great salve for the injuries as you already know. As is silly, dorky humor. We in SW are pulling for you.

@Neoerectus thank you 🫂

You are a free soul
Despite the cages of experience and pain
You have very beautiful eyes and hands and you could be more appreciated if you lower your own walls
But who am I to give such ideas
Another one free soul
💜
@Boeing I don't think I have walls. I grew up with no boundaries. We were wild kids and my whole family lived on the same road so it was very free. I used to love when people showed up at my door. My mom always made cookies and my uncles would come around and chat and eat a few cookies and help out my mom because my dad wasn't around.

My issue is all that got ripped away and I don't really know why. I was the one that remembered everyone and everything, and I started being excluded. It hurt. And my closest people kept dying. When my elder died, there was no one. I grieved and still grieve alone. Nobody wants to be around me anymore.

I don't know how to act because I don't understand what is wrong with me and that doesn't help because it makes me more awkward.

I've focused in and out and all around and I can't wiggle my way back in with people anymore because EVERYTHING is boundaries with humans.

I know who I am.

I like me.

But I don't fit and with humans you need to fit for survival. So then I become afraid. If something happened to me my son would be alone. I have to live knowing that every day and it's brutal.

Then fibromyalgia from PTSD I'm trying to manage but I'm focused on my son because that tribe element is non-existent.

It's just sucks 😂 I don't know what to do anymore so I just stopped. I don't smile. I don't dress nice. I'm not friendly. Because I tried and I got depleted. I was a very full cup person years ago. I am empty now.

I will do my best 🖤

@Boeing nighty night
I wish I could say something uplifting, motivating or even comforting. But your powerful words have left me bereft of meaningful words of my own.
I do feel for you and hope you can overcome these feelings.
@Mindfulness That's the problem with me I think. I'm too far gone now.

Thank you though..I appreciate that you took the time to respond with care. I won't give up.
