AITI for getting mad at my sisters parenting for my nephew sometimes.

Yesterday i took my 2 nephews to the park, he is 12 and has autism and ADHD for reference.

We drove to the park with his mum driving.
My other sister the eldest left the car right then she let my nephew sit in the front.
So I'm in the back with my other nephew who i barely see he's 6ft 4 and 16 years old and would greatly appreciate the extra leg room.
I already told him he can sit in the front like 10 mins ago
But she let her son go in.

In my day raised in family of 10 we never sat in the front with elders in the car EVER!
So i am annoyed about this.
Did that rule mean nothing?
Is respecting elders not a thing anymore?
It's not that deep i know but it's about the principle.
I had autism too so why is she being so considered over his wants when she never even asked her other nephew if he even wanted to sit there.

Then we had dinner together.
My nephew sat sitting on a another seat so i chose my seat and put my phone down on it to claim it i got some cutlery came back and he was in my seat.
Then argued with me about how he doesn't care and is sitting there now
I WAS FLABBERGASTED!
his mum told us 2 stop
And honestly i was vexxed and wanted my seat back so i could have tried the dramatics with his mum
But i just gave up
In my head I'm like "why am i literally going back and forth with a literal 12 yr old what is we doing in life"😂
But it's the principle you don't just sit in someone's elses seat deliberately.

I think he's just at a really hormonal time right now and it's showing in attitude.
And that maybe in time once all this defiance gets better he can become a functioning adult who can emotionally regulate himself and think of others.
That's all that matters and why i stand by those principles i grew up on.
I'm chill though.
