1 year update (tw: SA from family)
(context: my brother sa'd me for several years, you can check my profile if you want)
my birthday's in like 3 days (oct 26th), and 3-4 days ago my brother posted some picture of a cake "trying to bake a cake". i share the same birthday as my dad, so i don't know for sure if it's meant for me, but he doesn't have a good relationship with our dad so i highly doubt it's for him. i've told him not to give me gifts repeatedly, i've told him i've thrown them in the trash, but he keeps trying and keeps trying to talk to me despite multiple rejections.
i've told my dad and mom about what happened already, and they had blocked him from the family for a good heavenly 8 months before they let him in again. since then, it's been so random with their rules for him. suddenly he can't enter unless i say so, suddenly he can enter because he's "independent", ACTUALLY no no he can enter when he does his homework!!, oh NO leaving us in the house alone together!!', and then suddenly we can be left alone in the house together as long as i lock the door to my room. weird, i know. but because of this, i've been scared lately because he keeps harassing me and i know he won't face repercussions because "he's just trying to talk with family" "blood is thicker than water" "that's RUDE of you to say to a family member" etc etc
one time, i was chatting with my mom and dad, and randomly, he interjects with some weird "fun fact" in response to something i said and stares at me for an awkwardly long time, trying to get a reply out of me. it was genuinely so long and uncomfortable i wanted to cry on the spot, so i stared at my dad who was talking alot and i kept my mouth shut. eventually he figured i was paying attention to my dad so he finally stopped staring directly at me
he's done this multiple times, trying to get me shocked and finally give him attention or whatever like some six year old. he's had alot of six year old tendencies, i'm going to say.
i'm scared and i don't really have any friends, and he might show up on my birthday, idk, i hope he doesn't. i narrowly managed to keep him from showing up on my birthday last year and he had tried to use the "i'm picking up my clothes" excuse, like hello?? LIAR
happy birthday future me, i hope your creepy brother doesn't show up on your birthday. hopefully there won't be another update after this, and he'll be gone from your life for good
note: if you're wondering why he keeps doing this, it's because i gave him a second chance (unfortunately) after a gift. guess what? he went and sa'd me right after. i wisened up after that and started finally rejecting his attempts. he's unfortunately very good at manipulation.
