I just wanted to eat lunch, man.
It was 11:50 something am. Just woke up. Decided to leave the classroom for lunch. Pretty bright outside, decided to squint my eyes for most of the time. As I was walking, I locked eyes with random girl in front of me who was walking through the same path as me. In my mind, I was like "Uh.. hello? why are you staring at me lmao" with a blank expression on my face and my eyes still squinting. She immediately started walking faster and then I felt *it*. I was thinking that she was thinking that I was following her, but I denied it and tried to reassure myself. Then she went to left side of the dude she was walking with and started talking to the guy, whispering in his ear. (Keep in mind that I was in the right side of the path.) "ahh shit. she definitely thinks I'm following her." I tried to walk faster to get outta there asap, but then a group of people were walking on the left side of the path, putting me, the girl, and the dude closer to one side of the path, which just slowed me down. The guy looked behind and at me after the girl whispered to him, but I was already in front of them before they could even react. I ate my lunch with a blank expression, trying to process what just happened. I felt nothing but shame and misery for the rest of the day.
