I've noticed a shift.

With my son's school, training on jobs, any time you need to be informed prior, people won't give out information. Nothing is shared. You have to ask them a bunch of questions that they're too busy to answer, annoyed by and make you feel like an idiot for asking.

In the past it was people's job to inform you, train you, send out emails so you know what the heck is going on...

Now I feel like I'm supposed to either already know what I don't know or not care and get stuck with whatever.

I think we're getting paid more but we're stretched thinner. Inflation and cutbacks everywhere. It's trickled down to my lowly work too. Nothing is improving. Many people are burnt out and still can't pay the bills. Getting a lil hungry myself.

What's happening right now is very wrong.

This is not good shift. And I feel like so many people would rather a meteor collision in 2028 than to see what's next 😕

Yes, the cost of living is out of control in the UK, though the economic figures are set out to disguise it.

Food goes up and up. So does clothing and basic commodities.

Yet, for a few people, life is much better. Expensive restaurants are full, and the cocktail bars are teaming with people buying drinks at fifteen pounds a shot from four in the afternoon.
