I took care of my dad when he had cancer, his operation and when he passed away. Never once did he ever say he loved me or was proud of me.

I'm very proud of you for stepping up to the plate, deferring your business plans and otherwise putting your own life on hold as you and your wife devoted your lives to the well-being of your father's state of health.

Whether he said he loved you or that he was proud of you... or not, you and your wife tended to his needs anyway, unconditionally. This means, you and your wife were doing God's Will by taking care of your father, which means you were not doing your father's will that you take care of him as if it was your duty to serve him as his son.

Your father had nothing to do with your Guided Actions to take care of him in his time of need. You were simply 'listening' to that inner voice which then Guided you to do what someone out there had to do... and that Chosen 'someone' was you!

@swirlie Thank you very much 😊 He had a feeding tube through his nose going into his stomach. I had to learn how to crush his medicine and put it through the tube. He also had to have a bottle of Boost every three hours. I got good enough to where I could give him his medicine and feed him without waking him up.
