@AngissTT Some "culture" that is, if such acts are "normal". If you can't obtain any redress by talking to your neighbours first, or in law, you will have to make them feel as awkward and unwanted as possible for them by changing passwords, even removing the equipment from the room, not giving them any help or hospitality, etc.

It seems like this is your parents call, if they don't mind I don't think there's much you can do. Disagreeing is fine, but if it's their house and bills, it's not really for you to fix.

Sounds like this is a " problem" for your parents not for you. They pay the bills. Let it be. You could discuss it with them. I doubt they will change their ways. When you have your own home, you can make all the rules.
