have any other women noticed this?

When I go to diners either alone or with my kids or even with girlfriends I get bad service. I get ignored and walked past even if I try to flag them down for refills or for the bill or a takeout box. However, when I had a man in my life if I went with him to those same places and had those same waitresses I'd get good service. These silly little girls they got working seem to think that man present means flirty flirty and net a bigger tip. No honey as a woman I have money to spend too and I deserve the same level of service you give to any man that comes through those doors. Went out to dinner at a diner with my mother today. She got her hair done and we decided to go out because she looked good. Totally ignored even when I called out to the waitress politely she totally wouldn't look at me. I had to get another waitresses attention to be able to get my bill and a to go box. I noticed any table that had a man present at it got refills and better service from the waitress I had. I didn't leave a very good tip because you blatantly ignored me and my mother who even tried getting her attention. Place wasn't even busy either.

I haven't noticed that. The service varies whether I'm with a man or not. I have noticed certain waitresses will talk directly to my husband and not me when he's with me. Little do they know I'm the reason he gives better tips. Usually he's fine giving the bare minimum. So buttering him up isn't going to do anything lol.

@midnightrose Exactly, as women we too have a say and have our own money to spend. When I was with my son's father there was many time they put the bill in front of him to pay but I was the one who was really paying. Hell he would ask me what to leave for a tip half the time.
