I have a classmate who also gets bullied by his own classmates. One of them calls him a monkey because of his tan skin, kinda hairy and thin I guess? But he doesn't even look close to a monkey. That's the features of a human itself. I don't know why they call him that but he doesn't look like the extrovert type, but maybe a friendly introvert so they prey on him. I have no idea if he gets hurt in any way but for me it always hurt whenever I see someone getting bullied by some immature student randomly spawning in class so yeah... maybe because I feel like I was being attacked as well indirectly
