I have no actual friends.

Idk what to do anymore. I have no actual friends , everyone treats like a backup friend I still go to school so I practically spend my breaks alone, reading in the library and thinking about life and lunch time in prayer and that's about it im trying my best with everything I've told my mom about this too but I don't want to bother her too much she has her own problems too. I honestly don't trust anyone else enough to go to them about this can anyone give any advice to this

I'm sure it's tough and I don't take what you're going through lightly. At your age being accepted by your peers is one of the most important things. Loneliness is a big problem for not only people your age but also my age and beyond! I really don't have advice for you, other than be who you are and just smile and say "Hi" to people. A simple smile goes a long way! Being friendly and approachable is important! Are you shy?

@Sawmm Social awkwardness is often a result of being shy and causes you to lack confidence. My best advice, don't worry about being awkward, work on your shyness. I know, easier said than done. One thing that could help, is to join extra curricular activities that involves things you like. That will surround you with people that share your interests. Another thing, don't worry about being a part of the "in" crowd, if you are wanting acceptance from them, they may not be what you're about and you may not be what they're about! That will also lead to lacking confidence. Be with people you have things in common with! You seem like a very thoughtful girl, as you don't want to bother your mother, because she has her own problems. That shows me you're a good person that people would really appreciate.
