Rise above it and (pretend) to be really interested in what they are doing and really happy for them. Find some other things to do and tell them about those. If May is trying to make you jealous she will get bored because it’s not working. Look on the positives. They are wanting to include you by calling. It sucks that your Mum wouldn’t let you go but this time will pass. Also it does not matter if Jake likes May more… you have said that you clicked so you have a friendship. I have friends that I like for having fun and friends that I like for serious conversations and friends that have the same hobbies as me. It’s all different friendships and depths. I might look like I’m having a better time with my fun friends but actually I probably have a deeper relationship with the more serious ones. Hope that helps x
