Learning is a gift. Even when pain is your teacher.

SW-User
Pain is a universal human experience—everyone goes through it, and some believe it is a necessary part of life. Physical and emotional pain can teach us lessons and help us grow, providing us with strength and resilience. As several sources put it, pain nourishes courage.

Pain can also be a motivator, a reminder of the joys and beauty of life, or—as Karl Marx described it—an antidote to mental suffering.
Unresolved trauma, on the other hand, can have a devastating effect and lead to a range of self-destructive behaviours.

While some see pain as an end in itself, others find the most meaning in life by avoiding it altogether. Some find comfort in faith, believing that pain is a test or a lesson sent from a higher power.

There's also the idea that pain brings people together and fosters compassion—we can relate to each other's pain and, in doing so, form deeper connections.
