Digital Numbers

People have their ways with coping, and one of them is about digital numbers. When they posted a video, image or even a wall of text and people get interested with the content. They will like the post and some might even follow the user. On every platform no matter which it is. Youtube, TikTok, Twitter(AKA X), etc. That person who’s the user will get happy that they’re being followed by strangers, some even have daydreaming about themselves getting famous and everyone recognizes you whenever they see you. It pleases and makes you satisfied when you’re getting the attention and praises, especially to those the one who been yearning for attention. But will they realize that digital numbers are actually just a virtual thing on the screen that appears before you and they will not make you actually feel any better if you stay with your thought alone and think about stuff. You will only get more and more addicted to making content and seeing people giving you virtual thumbs up, comments and follower numbers. They’re things that aren’t that necessary in life but you keep pushing yourself into that hallucination of virtual world and think this is all you need to keep yourself living and destroy your own mental health. Have you realized that many of youtubers quit being youtubers because they have the dream they still want to do and now it’s their chance to do it. However, there are still people who think that internet is their life. If it’s possible, they wouldn’t even want to leave internet, they want to forget the reality which is not possible. There are so many things on internet even they’re good or bad. Digital numbers isn’t really my coping mechanism but there was one time I got popular on a platform and it feels good. Actually, it feels great to receive all this much of attention I’ve never got before. But it never actually recover me. After all of this wall of texts I’ve typed. Don’t get too addicted with the internet, your pain will never heal just because you think so.
