It’s not your fault, your friends should appreciate you for being so involved and I think it’s good if you were try to find a middle ground between giving and leaving when things certainly cross a line, wishing you the best

Try to enjoy the ride more instead of the destination. Read people properly and adjust your expectations, and the amount of time and energy you invest in them, accordingly.
