I wish I was better

I wish i was prettier maybe then people would recognize me, actually talk to me and want me to hangout with them. Maybe he wouldn't have left me. Maybe I would be happier. I wish i could look at myself in the mirror and actually think i look good or happy. I wish people cared about me. I wish i made better choices in life. I wish my friends actually liked me. I wish my grades were good. I wish i didn't disappoint everyone in my life. I wish i could be better.

Being 16-17, you life hasn’t even really begun yet. It’s like you’re still in tutorial mode, trust me. You still have the rest of your life to work on yourself, and I’m talking like 50+ years on average. Just need to put your plans in action now.
