Good job! You are self-aware enough to notice that you've had too much of everything!
That is the first step towards getting better! Now is the time to do something that will help you feel better. Although friends/family/confidants can listen... you are the one who has the power to transform your situation.
Overwhelmed = you need time on your own, to recollect , relax, and recharge your energy.
Give yourself some love and self-care. Take yourself out on a self-date, breathe a little, away from all stressors (as if time has stopped). Don't analyze/solve anything yet, just chill with yourself to aerate your mind.
Then.. start the mind again: do one thing, then another. If you feel lost, smart with small decisions like what to cook for dinner or some chore around the house, then another task or activity (could be just a 10 min walk) ... try to spend some time out in nature... something about that helps. Keep taking small decisions until you feel like making a bigger one.
Things will get back in order... being overwhelmed is your mind and body asking you to slow down a little and think deeply about your habits and goals and decide on some change(s). The solutions will come to you while in motion, so keep doing and choosing things until it gets better.
*If you get these self-destructive thoughts 24/7, I would recommend to try some therapy to increase your self-esteem because I am certain you can do many things that you don't because you don't believe in yourself. But you have to... in this world you have to have faith in your wonderful self!
**Feel free to modify some parts of your daily life... often people seem too uncomfortable to make a change that would in fact., benefit them ;)
Have faith in your power to make decisions and changes - you can do this :)
