Would it be my fault?

Imagine someone who is horrible to you, humiliates you infront of all of your friends, and admits to how much they want to make your life hell, but can still manage to justify everything they do to you and make you question whether or not you are a good, moral person. Would that make everything they do my fault or theirs?
