A story about my father going to jail.
Hello. I was looking for a place to “vent” and I came across this platform. So here I go.
My father, 1970-1980 has married my mother about 30 years ago.. When they got married they have decided to open up a coffee shop in Prague, the problem is, that the business was not doing well, and since my parents couldnt keep paying for all the necessities that had to loan some money. Now, this is where the mistake was made.. The coffee shop has originally been signed on my mothers name so of course the debts we’re hers to pay.. But because my dad is such a kind-hearted person, he has decided to take all the debts from her and pay them himself, thinking that my mother would help him do so. The debt was around 1 000 000 Crowns. Time skip to around 20 years later, my dad has met this one man and his wife, because the man did not have a job, my dad has decided to find him a job, which he successfuly did and the man is working there to today, now the second biggest mistake (maybe this was the biggest one actually) The man, and my dad became friends, and so my dad asked to borrow some money from him, which my dad would be repaying each month.. He was, and he still is. Now.. Guess what? 4 years later, the man had sued my dad. I’ll just shorten the end here, basically my father is waiting for the final word and he is most likely going to divorce my mother AND go to jail, even though he is repaying his debt each month.
