You can see how seflish everyone is. It's beautiful that you're a caring person and I know how hard it can be at times
People who force you to be silly for them to listen are taking you as a jester. You're a respectable, respectworthy person and I expect that you accept that. You deserve to feel how you feel and like everyone else, you deserve attention, care, and for people to be serious with you.
Just know that if you're growing up here in America, the whole society is like this. People here are broken man. It's really sad what kind of place this is but I guarantee you that you can find loving people and they exist just like you :)

@sexyjigsaw Can I ask? What do you mean when you said people in the US are broken?
@Casheyane the U.S. has a mass societal issue with mental illness and immorality as a whole. This is what I mean by broken. People keep hurting each other more than helping and it's hard to have the people look to one another with good faith and stop corruption.
Good people exist here but they're so few.

Reality is it doesn't change much as adults. For most anyway. Not to be a downer but it all depends on the circumstance and the people you get to keep around you.
Someone wise advised me to be very selective of who I let in. Because truth is, most of whom we spend our energy and resources on won't really stick around for life and would run should they meet someone more useful.
So be careful. But still, don't stop believing. All it takes is one friend.

Same, that's why I have dogs.. They don't really care what I have to say either, just lay on my lap and get their bellies rubbed.
