Why are parents like this?

I think because they want us to be better, to be the best. And they think they are encouraging us by comparing. But we all are different, the things we are good at and they don't notice sometimes. please don't feel like you're not enough. You're enough. You're growing up and gonna be better and better, you're amazing the way you are <3

Their intention is that you get inspired to see other kids. It's another thing they really don't know how to motivate you.
