What's going to happen

My best friend, my childhood friend. We've known each other since we were 7, we rarely had talked since I moved back. Then in 2022 July we just clicked again over me crushing on that guy in her class. We could talk about everything and anything, sit in silence and not feel awkward, gossip, scream and cry. We were the "if you did anything illegal I'll help you" friends.

But a while back we (friends group) debated against her OVER A COLOUR, she kept saying the indigo was blue and we kept saying otherwise and it was closer to purple. She left some groups I'm in, hasn't been replying to me and when I try talk to her in person its clear she's avoiding me and just me. I love giving small things to show that I care, money, drawings, leaves, rocks, flowers, literally anything I can find. Before she'd take it and show off to her classmates about it and now she really just shrugs it off and I wanted to talk to her about how she's behaving but she's giving me cold shoulders.

I really don't know what to do, I want to apologise but what's there to apologise for? For disagreeing about the colour of a character? If I actually lose her and our friendship over a COLOUR I will cry, Going around in school, not sitting with her and her friends, not even talking. It just feels sad, it's not that I don't have any other friends but I'm someone who mixes between groups whenever I feel like it. She was the person that was part of my life everyday and suddenly she's just not.

So sorry to hear about your longtime friend. It's not all that uncommon as we get older and take on new identities that we will lose some old friends. It's just one of those things. She may come back into your life at another time. So be ready to accept her if it happens.

Love, Kim ❣️

I think she just wanted a reason to stop being your friend, it's probably not just the colour thing I hope you'll work it out or find a better friend.

Are you old enough to be on the internet?
@DoNotDisturb how old is too young for you?
