Is it appropriate for a Man to Vent?

Should a Man be allowed to vent about the obstacles, difficulties & frustrations in his life or is he supposed to just keep them bottled up inside and act like nothing bothers him?

Just so everyone knows, I don't personally need advice on this topic. Just curious to hear other peoples opinions on it.

For me, venting is online. But even then it's not about personal issues. In real life I try hard not to because that means bringing someone else in to my shit. I can handle it on my own and don't need to lay my stuff on someone else.
