my cello teacher wasn’t very nice to me, am I being too sensitive?
So, today my cello teacher (let’s call her ms. D) wasn’t very nice to me. Idk if I’m being WAYYY too sensitive or whatever, but I kinda almost cried when she did this. I was playing our concert piece and I messed up a note, she then stopped everything and tried to help me correct my mistake (which, I’m not that bothered by.) When I tried again, she said “Okay, this is what I’m doing.” She played the note. “And this is what you’re doing,” she slammed her fingers on her cello, stuck out her tongue, rolled her eyes to the sky, and moved the bow in like, 24757 different directions. She did this in front of a pretty medium-large group of people (I don’t take private lessons) and there were people laughing. I am autistic and I don’t know whether she was making fun of me or if she was just doing a little comedy jig (although, I didn’t find it very funny.) I also don’t really know if the people were laughing at me or at the facial expressions she made. Should I bring this up with her? I’ve never seen her do this with anyone else.
