I sheltered myself and now Im not ready for the real world

Im a 23 year old female still living at home. I use my Aunts car to get to Uni. Today I tried going to school and on my way I noticed the car was making a funny noise. Only to see that the tore was punctured. I was told by people near by that it needs to be completely replaced. I should have had a spare with me but i fid jot. It was incredibly irresponsible of me to not check if the car is ok before leaving because I put kyslef and others at risk. Now I need my uncles assitance in changing it. I feel incredibly stupid for not preparing myself better and not taking care of my Aunts car well.

You are ready and you learned something....many never check the spare/donut

If it makes you feel any better this is a routine problem and you shouldn't feel too bad about it. Yeah check your car but lesson learned, right. we picked up a horrible flat last week and just had to deal with it. Shit happens.

Why does your Aunt get a capital A but your poor uncle only gets a lower case u?

@SW-User I was typing fast, sorry😅 I made a lot of errors here.
It's not your fault.

@Spoiledbrat Thanks but it is. I just need to learn to do better next time.🙏

Live, Learn and move on. Nothing bad happened, no point in thinking the worst when the outcome was OK
