Vent because I've been experiencing this since I was still a toddler

My mom left me at church because I had my phone on silent I couldn't hear her calling me on my phone when I went out to find her she was there in front of the gate and she slapped me I'm currently still in junior high school.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Some adults do not have a good handle on their emotions, can not handle simple problems/obstacles when it comes to their kids and lash out. They end up hurting their kids.
It's not right, it's bad parenting and bad problem solving.

My parents used to slap me too and I can't say what's worse the physical or the emotional pain.
