Maybe I didn’t really need a relationship

Maybe I just needed to prove a point to myself.

I needed someone that I can give my heart on a plate to and they wouldn’t cut it with a knife.

I just need to feel like there’s at least one person in this world that I can be safe with even when I’m completely vulnerable.

But maybe I got only one chance to test this, and I missed it already
