Struggling with my family

My parents especially my mom have been putting so much pressure on me, i have a really big family and all responsibilities are dumped on me. I've been religiously cleaning, cooking and looking after all my siblings (older and younger) for FIVE YEARS straight and i don't even get a thank you or anything in return.Considering the fact i have multiple heath problems its not even taken to account by my family. I'm currently sleeping on a old mattress and all i have is my school laptop (i don't even have a bedroom anymore) to communicate with family and friends. My parents are African i'm sorry if this is hard to read, English isn't my first language.

I understand that culturally you feel like you HAVE to jump through your family's many hoops and do whatever it takes to make sure they are happy, BUT my advice from an older person that has "been there and done that" herself is to balance that with a huge dose of self love. Fall in love, follow your dreams, spend time alone doing what you love or absolutely nothing at all. We are human and we are not able to constantly go like robots. Don't let yourself allow your life to pass away without experiencing those things or the people that bring you contentment. Be free, be you, live hard and love harder. Those things are important because life is not an infinite thing. I wish you much love and light on your journey.
