It's so unfair!

I'm 35 years old, single, have extreme menstruation cramps (to the point where I literally pass out) and I don't want kids.

Still, there's no way for me to get rid of my uterus 🤬
I've told my doc that the thoughts I've had about suicide since I was 12-13 multiplies by atleast 5 during my period, and still that's not enough 🤬

Do I need to literally attempt for them to take me seriously?

Find another doctor.... they should take you seriously.

@Lilymoon my doc is the best there is nearby. He understands my frustration, but at the same time he knows the people recieving applications for this kind of thing won't allow it.

@SW-User ahhh that's too bad...😕

@Lilymoon a friend of mine who's a couple years older, and has kids 22, 20 and 18 years old is also denied the option.

@SW-User wow that really doesn't seem fair.... maybe the insurance companies won't pay for it?
SW-User
@Lilymoon we have free healtcare (Norway)

@SW-User Right but sometimes they won't pay for certain surgeries...
SW-User
@Lilymoon insurance has nothing to do with healtcare. The government should pay if it's a matter of quality of life. Otherwise people are free to pay for it themselves. I can't afford topay for anything myself, unfortunately 😔

@SW-User they should pay but a lot of times they won't... and it's very expensive to pay yourself. it's unfortunate.
