Is it normal to be jealous about this?

I'll be honest,one of my ex said I was annoying with my jealousy...So well it's obvious I'm kind of obsessed and upset about having to be the only one in the life of someone.I mean my boyfriend told me that ''his hormones'' are asking for hugs and things like that (long distance relationship) and he told me that a girl at his school make his ''hormones'' freaking out even if I am with him...Is it normal if I am jealous and horribly angry about the fact that his ''hormones'' would like him to go see this girl.Is it normal if I feel like sh*t about that?
