I feel broken...

My classmate accidentally gave an ip address to my minecraft server to someone else and asked them to destroy the world of the juniors. But it was mine and he destroyed my builds and all my stuff is gone. My villager and pets, i treated it like it was my home. I felt so peaceful until today. I want to have revenge but i dont know how. I also cut myself as I think its a bit of my fault too as I was afk at the moment. I cut myself based on how many was killed and how many buildings were destroyed. In total, i cut myself 21 times. I just need emotional support here. 😢 I know it is just a game but I just feel really connected to the world I made ;--;

This is why I DO NOT play multiplayer games. Gamers can be super toxic. But yeah I'm really sorry about what happened. I never was into minecraft so I have no idea about the backup options. But Im super paranoid with my progress and saves so I have backups of my backups of my backups. I'm even one of those people that still use optical media cause I follow the 321 rule. Have 3 copies on two different types of media and have one in an offsite location.
But please don't take it out on yourself. I know it was a lot of progress but it isnt worth harming your health over an accident or even if it was on purpose. Try to think of it as a chance to build a new better world.
Also sometimes if I have lost a lot of progress I'll use cheats and mods to boost myself back up to where I was before.
