vulnerability

my friends always vent out to me and i'm glad they find comfort in my words. but never in my life have i ever vent out to anyone due to the fact that i don't like being vulnerable with other people. i often think i'd look weak if i do and i'm afraid that if i vent out, people would think of me differently.

Honestly, vulnerability is how you grow closer to people. Some people may be horrid and abuse that vulnerability but in a way, that's also a good thing as it cleanses your pool of contacts of horrid people. People who meet you on the same ground of vulnerability are people you can grow with and have more fulfilling relationships with.
