I Need to Vent

As a black man in a world of discrimination I am tired of people even my own race asking me to cut my hair...I'm not cutting my afro cause you think its unprofessional cause you let society mold you lil playdough brains. Every time I go to the store dude ask me if I'm cutting it...no my hair along with my teeth is my pride..my hair is not fashion but it's my culture. Long live afro afro power...✊🏾

I was one of the first two kids in my country town to grow my hair long. Everyone gave me hell, I got into fights, all kinds of things. But no-one was gonna force me into their mold. A year or two later everyone had grown their hair.

Almost cut my hair... but I didn't, and I wonder why? I feel like I owe it... to someone.

@Abstraction dude that sound like me in school I got bullied for dressing how I wanted and next day everyone was dressing exactly like how I was...my tank top on the outside(I thought it would be funny lol)
