I Need to Vent
Birthday "tomorrow" (technically today, as it's past midnight), and I am not looking forward to it. I know it's stupid to enter a day with a negative mindset, but.
My mother has decided that we (her, my twin sister and I) are going to have dinner at a restaurant of our choosing. Which sounds great on paper, except both me and my twin sister can't stand our mother.
Pretty sure I won't get any gifts this year, either. I know it's selfish to be upset about that, not to mention childish and materialistic, but I haven't gotten used to it yet and it still feels like a "no one cares about you" kind of deal.
So, tomorrow. Mentally bracing myself to feel unloved, uncomfortable, and like I'm running out of time. 馃帀馃帀馃帀 hooray.
