I Need to Vent

Found out today that I am not allowed to take any time off the week of Christmas even though we will be incredibly slow. I have family coming in from across the country and I'll only get to spend Christmas day with them if I am lucky. I know I should be grateful I have a job but feeling bummed I won't be able to spend time with my family.

I am sorry. This really sucks. I am also getting two days off that wk and have to work or use personal days off to take any time off.

@jlsdjfhasdljfhasdfa They won't let any of us because they're afraid if one person gets it everyone will get upset yet all the managers are taking time off

@SW-User i understand the reason behined it, however, it has to be based on individual case/needs.

@SW-User the decision is made at a very high level and they wont change.
