That actually works really well for me, also you can try to seperate yourself from the anger a bit by recognizing the underlying feeling that caused the anger in the first place (like hurt or shock) and try to focus on that feeling instead. I heard that it's healthy for us to do, but sometimes I feel like I'm just filled with adrenaline that has nowhere to go. Breaking stuff that has no value anyways helps.

@Nightwings that's a good point, for me I guess it's disappointment and hurt causing the underlying emotions. Maybe anger is just easier to process :(
