Was i being dramatic or not?

hey, ive just joined this website to mostly vent. last week i got into a fight with my guy “best” friend. our class went on a school trip last weekend and he wasnt hanging around me much we barely talked even if he calls me his “best” friend. I got so pissed when i saw him sitting with other two classmates and his best friend like i was honestly in shock whys he sitting with them and not me and my other friend since we were a group of four. his best friend, him, me and my friend. i even cried in the bus while he probably didnt care. next day i texted him that i want to talk to him and when we did he started attacking me with words and made it into an argument. guess what? he said why would i ever call you my best friend? i was just shocked at this point when he literally called me that month ago. i was the only one putting effort in this friendship and turns out i was his 2/3/4th best friend but he treats 2/3/4th best friends and regular friends the same which was weird to me. he said only first best friend matters like why did you even call me like that in the first place? my other friend thought i was dramatic about it and stuff while i was just hurt. we ended up insulting each other and stuff and we stopped being friends anymore. this week ive realised how much more ive been socialising with others and stuff ive missed. he didnt hold me back it was just me. but i feel so much more free without him even if i miss him. worst part we go to same class. do you think he’ll come back to me? i only wanted to talk but he made it into an argument and didnt even understand my problem and we ended up insulting each other and i dont think theres ever going back from it.
