Family didn’t tell me my sister was assaulted and sent to the hospital
2 days ago my sister was assaulted at work and sent to the hospital. She is fine now and taking time off to recover.
What upsets me is how I found out. My parents and my sister don’t talk to my grandma anymore. They haven’t spoken to each other in 5 years over an incident that occurred. I didn’t follow their lead and still see my grandma. My grandma is the one that told me. And a friend of my mom told my grandma.
I guess the reason they didn’t tell me was because they were scared that I would tell my grandma. Does that make any sense?? Why does a friend of my mom knew what happened before me?
Do I have any reason to be upset?
