Yes, I've stayed in a relationship because of that.
I wasn't raised to be authentic with my feelings. There was a heavy price to pay if I were.

But, it's gotten much better lately. It HAD to.
There's no true relationship, with myself or anyone else, without it.

Oh God yes. This was pretty a big thing in my life recently. It's not even this simple, there were extra layers that made it damn near impossible to get out of. Even now, I'm unsure if what I did was right, but I had the best intentions.
