I could never work for tips

Lol I made a post about working for tips earlier. It’s not that bad really I mean granted I’m a male and a bartender instead of like a server or something where the customers have more access to try and talk to you. So I can’t testify to what it’s like to be a lady dealing with male customers but just from my experience, making a good bit of your income on tips has its advantages. I’ve made a thousand bucks on a Thursday-Friday-Saturday run on tips alone

Tipping is not really a thing here, but most hospo and tourism depends on cheap imported student labour that doesn't comply with standard employment rules. Hospo businesses are notorious for under-paying and not paying staff.

We don't do the working for tips thing over here. Everyone gets an actual wage, tips are completely optional and are not expected, just if you want to say thanks.

So that whole motion is weird to me.
