Ok, nicely stoned and feeling better now…

Dad’s chemo treatment today ended up in a hospital stay when his nose sprung a massive leak. This evening he text asking me to bring his phone charger, and I got there just in time to hear the nurse confirm his absolute DNR request…

“Yes, nothing at all. Between the leukemia and the lung cancer, just let me drift if it comes to that.”

I respect his choice, and almost definitely do the same if it were me, but it was still very hard to actually hear it.
