These electric bills in the uk are stressing me out

Why cant u get a straight forward bill? I get estimate readings and i send them my actual readings and they charge me for the estimated readings when i already paid for my readings like wtf?

Should i just get a smart meter? Would that help?

They normally charge on your reading when you send it, smart meter world sort it out for you plus you can watch bills clocking up every day !!

@Barny52 yeah but i got a bill today wanting me to pay the extra difference because my actual readings are less than their estimated ones like wtf!

@DarkSideoftheMoon im with eon and never had that ! Used to get a email with estimates if that was higher than my reading would send my reading in and just be charged on my reading, at end of day the meter can’t be cheated its a running total. Perhaps the prices have gone up and it down to that ! I’ve never had a problem with smart meter

@Barny52 im with eon next too. We have to call them but i think we will go with yhe smart meter
