These electric bills in the uk are stressing me out

Why cant u get a straight forward bill? I get estimate readings and i send them my actual readings and they charge me for the estimated readings when i already paid for my readings like wtf?

Should i just get a smart meter? Would that help?

@UKNaturist im literally hyperventilating right now. I got a bill for £300 for their estimated readings from march to now, when ive been paying my electric bills every month. So im guessing ive been charge for my readings and now im getting charged because it diesnt correspond to their estimates? It doesnt make sense

@nedkelly yeah we have a civil advice number or something. Its literally on the bill lol explains a lot
